Here in my deep dark basement you will find examples of my dark craft, this will be sawing drilling and the spillage of fluids all in the name of art! I will be keeping a record of many finished, as well as many unfinished projects during my many forays into the miniature painting world. I will endeavour to post regular updates but don't hold your breath! So its time to dim lights and if your sitting comfortably we can get on with the show!

Ok I admit it......
Things got a little busy between work, finishing my college project of etc, etc, many excuses you get the idea. All though I haven't been posting anything here I have managed to shoe horn some painting in so there will be some updates shortly after this post. Seeing as I have finished my job (contract complete) and wont be back at college til the end of September due to a trip overseas ill be trying to squeeze as much as I can in over the next couple of weeks. This will hopefully only be marginally disrupted by job hunting and getting ready for my travels. So sorry about the absence and I'll apologise for the disappearing act in a couple of weeks but hopefully normallish service has been resumed.

Infinity - Aleph Faction - Netrods Part 1
These aren't exactly the most exciting of miniatures as they are essentially air dropped mobile phone masts but are useful to have and give me a chance to get more used to the new colour scheme I worked out on the Yudbot before trying something bigger. Here's the progress so far:
Infinity - Aleph Faction - Finished Yudbot
So I got this little frakker finished, not happy with the butt plates or some of the grey areas but will do for a test model. Having seen the new FW Zone Mortalis basing kit there may well be a change of basing scheme, though I consider this finished for now.
Scythes of the Emperor - Sternguard again
So I haven't forgotten about my Scythes just yet, I've managed to get two of them pretty much finished and another two on the way as seen below.
Standards are slipping a bit but I really just want to get this army finished off up to 1850 pts so I can spend more time on other projects. After these I just have the Sergeant to finish for this squad then my Kantor counts as conversion to sort out before finishing off insignia and take bases.

Infinity - Aleph Faction -Yudbot part 1
Well theres been plenty of prevarication and farting around aswell as a few failed test models but now it's time to get on with it. I'll be posting my WIP Aleph stuff here for all to poke fun at as I go along. As I find it impossible to work out how to paint models from a list of colours without seeing the painter at work I'm using a bastardized Angel Giraldez paint scheme.
I figured I would start with a Yudbot as it was only little and shouldn't be too difficult, mistake! It being tiny it's a bit of a swine. But anyway this is my progress so far.
Sorry about the tiny dark photos but most of my WIP stuff will be taken on my camera phone, though all finished models will get a proper photoshoot at the end.

Forgeworld Chaos Warhound Titan
I had this stuck in the bottom of my display cabinet minus the arms for years now so I finally got round to glueing his arms on and hopefully he will soon be finding a new home via the wonders of eBay. Though I figured I should show him off for posterity.
Warmill - Portable Utility Pod
ANother bit of Scenery smashed out using the airbrush only and no traditional brushwork. This time it was the utility pod from Warmill, this a nice kit far more detailed than the Sarissa equivalents. I went for a bit of a grubbier look this time compared to the holoboards as I ntend this to sit amongst my rusty crates/barrels and some skips along with some construction type equipment for a building site type area on the upcoming board. Heres the photos you were waiting for.
The skips shouldn't be far behind. TTFN
